Both in the East and the West, there has been a long-standing tradition of correlating celestial phenomena with human activities or destinies since ancient times. Astrology has even been a standard for determining fate. In ancient China, the study of constellations, known as the theory of lunar mansions, also served as an important predictive tool.
To observe the movements of the sun, moon, and stars, the ancient Chinese divided the vast sky into 28 constellations, known as the Twenty-Eight Mansions.
